With reference to your despatch No.259, of

the 4th of July, 1921, I have the honour to transmit

to you copies of letters from the Treasury and War

Office respecting the method of accounting for

returned Public Works Department stores in Hongkong,

and to inform you that I approve of your taking

action in accordance with paragraph 2 of the

Treasury letter of the 4th April.
